The Mayfield Recreational Association (MRA) is a registered charity (number 700004) that provides outdoor and sporting facilities for children, young people and adults in and around Mayfield.. We are seeking tenders from qualified suppliers for the supply and installation of benches, fences, and planters for our facility located at Conygree Lane, Mayfield, nr Ashbourne, East Staffordshire, DE6 2HW.
Project Description
The MRA is looking to improve the outdoor space at our facility to create a more inviting and functional environment. This is part one of the project. (Part two will be the creation of a garden.) This tender is for
Benches
- 5 Garden benches fixed to the ground
- 2 Picnic benches fixed to the ground
- A “round” bench to go around the existing tree
Fencing & Planters
- 8 planters interspersed with fencing, including installation
- Gate which is big enough to allow wheelchair access
- Picket fencing to replace existing fencing (see below)
Area where the benches will be placed
The planters and fencing to go on the long, right-hand edge marked below in white, around 23 m.
The additional fencing to go along the bottom edge, from the gate, around 6 m.
Tender Requirements
Tender submissions should include the following information:
- Company name and contact details
- Relevant experience and qualifications in supplying and installing benches, fences, and planters
- Detailed product specifications for the proposed benches, fences, and planters, including materials, dimensions, and warranties
- Installation plan and timeline
- References from previous clients (optional but highly regarded)
- Competitive pricing breakdown for each element (benches, fencing, planters, installation)
Selection Process
The MRA will evaluate all tenders based on the following criteria:
- Suitability of proposed products and materials
- Experience and qualifications of the supplier
- Competitive pricing
- Installation plan and timeline
- References (if provided)
The MRA reserves the right to contact any tenderer for further clarification or to request additional information.
Submission
Tenders must be submitted to treasurer @ mramayfield.org.uk by 1 September 2024
