Moy Park has donated £15,000 to the Mayfield Recreational Association. They received the funding through Moy Park’s Community Support Fund which was established in 2020 to support organisations local to its operations across Europe.
Mayfield Recreation Association provides outdoor and sporting facilities for children, young people, and adults in and around the village of Mayfield and with the funding, the group has completed the installation of a new playground which features equipment for children aged 2-12 years old to meet and play in the area.
Working in conjunction with Mayfield Neighbourhood Association (MARNA), over £60,000 in costs for the playground was raised in total.
Commenting on the support received from Moy Park, Andrew Reay-Robinson, Treasurer of Mayfield Recreational Association said:
“We are delighted with this generous donation from Moy Park, it has enabled us to finally raise the funds and complete the installation of our much-needed new playground, and to have a lovely play area for our children, parents, and grandparents to meet and enjoy themselves. This project wouldn’t have been possible without the much-needed funds from companies such as Moy Park and we thank them again for this fantastic donation.”
